Ardra Labs

Ardra Labs began with founder Nava Krishnan’s lifelong connection to timekeeping, shaped by his own lunar birth star, Ardra, and by years spent moving between Washington, D.C. and his family home in South India. GMT watches were his constant companions, but none could accurately capture India’s unique 5-hour and 30-minute offset. That missing half-hour became more than an inconvenience; it became a design flaw he could not ignore, revealing a gap in a complication that had otherwise served global travellers for decades. The idea of fixing that gap quietly grew, fuelled by sketches, prototypes and even a timely visit to the final Baselworld, where the concept started taking real shape.

With support from manufacturing partners and investors who believed in his vision, Nava transformed that early frustration into a focused pursuit. Ardra Labs now embodies the belief that a small, independent maker can still deliver meaningful innovation while working within the practicalities of its scale. The brand’s purpose feels refreshingly clear: to create watches that are thoughtfully engineered, culturally relevant and designed with the kind of precision that elevates everyday timekeeping beyond the ordinary.
